The resulting pressure difference draws the unfiltered liquid through the silicone hose into the filtration unit.<\/p>\n<p>The liquid then passes through <strong>2\u20137 cotton pads<\/strong> positioned on a perforated support plate. The cotton pads retain sediment and fine solid particles, while the filtered liquid flows into the lower collection jar.<\/p>\n<h3>Operating procedure<\/h3>\n<ol start=\"1\" data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Connect the syringe, two non-return valves and T-connector according to the system diagram.<\/li>\n<li>Place 2\u20137 cotton pads on the perforated support plate.<\/li>\n<li>Assemble the filtration unit and secure it with the 2&#8243; clamp.<\/li>\n<li>Install the system on an empty collection jar.<\/li>\n<li>Connect the vacuum assembly using the silicone hose.<\/li>\n<li>Place the inlet hose into the container with the liquid to be filtered.<\/li>\n<li>Slowly draw air out of the collection jar using the syringe.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the filtration process and avoid excessively high flow rates.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Normally, <strong>2\u20133 cotton pads are sufficient for filtering approximately 1\u20131.5 litres of liquid<\/strong>.
