They fit perfectly into the necks of most bottles.
Oak cubes, unlike flakes, are produced specifically for aging spirits. Their size allows for a very slow leaching of the beneficial components (tannins, aromas, etc.) contained in the oak. This slow process positively influences the development of the wine’s bouquet.
We add cubes at a rate of 0.5–3 g/l during aging, after the first 2–3 decantations, for a minimum of 2 months.
Oak cubes are imported directly from one of the largest oak flake producers in France.
