New Packing Section Retainer for 3″ Tsarga is an upgraded design compared to traditional mesh retainers. Thanks to its improved construction, it allows a greater volume of reflux to pass through, as removed the wall-side ring. Previously, this ring significantly reduced the effective flow area of the tsarga and restricted the normal return flow of reflux, which could cause premature column flooding even at relatively low power levels.
The upgraded retainer allows the column to operate at higher power. It features an attractive appearance, excellent polishing quality, and is made entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel.
The retainer is used to secure packing inside the tsarga. It does not cause column flooding and reliably holds packing of any type and size. Thanks to the expansion ring, it is firmly secured inside an empty tsarga. It also performs exceptionally well as a reflux concentrator.
