They fit perfectly into the necks of most bottles. Oak cubes, unlike flakes, are produced specifically for aging spirits. Due to their size, the process of leaching out the desired components (tannins, tannins, aromas, etc.) contained in oak occurs very slowly. This slow process positively impacts the development of the wine’s bouquet.
We add cubes at a rate of 0.5-3g/l during the aging process, after the first 2-3 decantings, for a minimum of 2 months.
Oak cubes are imported directly from one of the largest oak flake producers in France.
