Designed for the fermentation of grains, starchy, and complex raw material mixtures (rice, wheat, barley, corn, oats, etc.).
Contains active yeast and an enzyme complex: alpha-amylase, glucoamylase, and phytoamylase.
Ensures rapid and complete fermentation with a high alcohol yield.
Allows grain fermentation without boiling or adding malt.
One package (500 g) is sufficient for approximately 250-300 liters of mash.
Dosage: 7-10 g of yeast per 1 kg of grain.
Sample recipe: for 25 liters of water and 5 kg of grain, use approximately 50 g of yeast.
Preparation: Pre-activate the yeast in warm water (20-30°C) and add to the prepared wort.
Fermentation temperature: +23 to +30°C.
Fermentation time: 2-3 weeks (depending on the temperature and the composition of the grain).
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight and moisture. After opening, it is recommended to seal the package tightly and use within a few months.
Koji Angel differs from regular brewer’s or wine yeast in that it contains enzymes that automatically break down the starch in the grain. This simplifies the process of preparing grain mashes.
